EIS Companies supplies premium turbine oils and other power generation segment specific fluids to numerous coal fired, wind, nuclear and hydroelectric power plants throughout the United States. EIS is heavily invested in our relationships with our power generation clients. Each account is assigned a dedicated account manager who manages the client’s lubricants needs, while an experienced lubrication engineer with turbine and power generation experience addresses their technical needs.

Turbines require ultra-clean fluids to operate reliably and EIS goes to great lengths to ensure all turbine oils delivered to our clients are exceptionally clean. All bulk turbine oils are delivered in ultra-clean dedicated tanker trailers directly from the manufacturer’s refinery to the client’s turbine reservoir or storage tanks. Bulk turbine oils arriving at the customer’s plant are guaranteed to meet an ISO 18/16/13 or better.

We maintain a large inventory of ultra-clean turbine oils, gears and hydraulic oils, biodegradable greases for hydroelectric dams, EHC fluids and PFPE oils and greases. All packaged lubricating oils and greases are factory filled and are stocked in climate controlled warehouses. Combined with frequent inventory rotation and product turn around, EIS delivers the highest quality turbine and other oils every time.

When availability of oil is the critical component in successfully bringing a turbine out of a forced outage, EIS’ product availability at our warehouses, combined with our same day Hot Shot delivery service, helps get many of our power generation clients back on line, and out of very serious and costly situations.

When TVA’s Watts Bar nuclear plant needed an emergency delivery of several thousand gallons of turbine oil to bring an 1100 megawatt turbine back online, EIS delivered the needed oil in under six hours, saving TVA millions of dollars in lost generation revenues…
